Eric A. Patton, Minister
Looking for a wedding officiant in Nashville or Middle Tennessee? I’ve got you covered.
I’m Eric A. Patton, a seasoned officiant based in Old Hickory. I’ve had the joy of marrying hundreds of couples. LGBTQ+ and straight, spiritual and secular, wild and traditional... all across the region. Whether you’re planning months ahead or tying the knot on a whim, I’m here to make your ceremony feel personal, grounded, and full of heart.
If you’re in love and ready to commit, I’d be honored to help you celebrate it.
Mapping The Magic
With hundreds of weddings under my belt, I’ve seen just about everything. Wildly romantic elopements, deeply spiritual rituals, and backyard dance parties that turned into full-blown revivals? I've done just about every kind of wedding you can imagine. Whatever you’re dreaming up, I’m here for it.
My job is to craft a ceremony that feels like you: your story, your vibe, your values. Whether it’s short and sweet or full of intention and flair, I’ll help shape a moment that’s true to who you are and make sure it flows beautifully.
No stress. Just a ceremony that fits you.
About Me:

Hey there! I'm Eric, a Nashville-based officiant with a deep love for meaningful, inclusive ceremonies.
I’ve officiated over 500 weddings, from mountaintop elopements to backyard celebrations.
My approach is simple: honor your story, respect your values, and make sure your ceremony feels like you.
Whether you’re spiritual, secular, queer, traditional, or somewhere in between, I’m here to help you feel seen and celebrated.
Outside of weddings, I work as a financial advisor, helping people build strategy and stability with the same intention I bring to ceremonies. At my firm, we believe financial planning—just like the weddings I officiate—should be inclusive, accessible, and affirming.
I live in Old Hickory with my beagle Maybelle. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me hiking with friends, organizing for justice, or leading a Sunday school class where we deconstruct old ways of thinking and build community rooted in love and grace.
